FireDetec systems protect critical electrical, mechanical and chemical handling equipment with a high risk of fire. By suppressing fires where they start, damage and downtime are greatly reduced.
These Rotarex systems use a patented continuous tube of linear sensors that reliably detect and trigger the release of the extinguishing agent using pneumatic technology. It is more flexible, space and cost efficient compared to alternative mechanical or electronic systems.
FireDetec is designed to meet fast discharge time (up to 10 seconds) per NFPA 2001. Multi-Point provides partial/local flooding from single or multiple hazards.
Utilizing 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid, with the option to use CO² gas, it offers the unprecedented flexibility to provide localized protection of high-value equipment for maximum efficiency and profitability.
